WHS - new handicap system.
World Handicapping System
From November 2020, the way your handicap is calculated is changing and is being standardised around the world.
Your handicap will be drawn from an index of your previous 20 rounds with the average of the rolling best eight counting.
Each club will have its own slope index for rating each of its courses and you should match your handicap index with the slope to see what your playing handicap for that particular course is. These slopes should be prominently displayed by the club.
